Here is another one of the fun bridge personalities, Wilbur Poole. It seems like Wilbur and I are always crossing paths. Today, the multi-talented Wilbur, who in times past has worked as an iron worker and hydraulic pump controller, today was a forklift operator. He offered to lift my car - but I declined.

As many of you know - Google and the Internet are flattening the world of relationships. By flattening, I mean that hierarchies are disappearing with reckless abandon. In the business and university world, many managers are finding that their communication function is being displaced by the Internet and their consultative function is being displaced by Google and Internet-accessible resources.

For me, Google and the Internet also extends my memory. If I want to find something that I infrequently use, then I visit Google for "remembering". There is no Internet forgetting as long as the web page is accessible. So, here is my assignment for you. Using the Google search box above, locate all the references to Wilbur on my web pages. I am hypothesizing that if I can't remember them then you probably don't remember them easier. This way, you also can experience both an episode of what I call Internet-centric learning as wall as discover the role of Google as a memory extension.
