The Channel Gap < 6 inches and a view from the Pearman bridge

To help your imagination, here is a view of the last gap as seen from the Pearman bridge. Note the fairing installed along the edge girders on the west side. Soon similar wind breakers will be installed on the east side. You can see pairs of attachment points on the vertical stiffeners on the east edge girders.
