Building the Ravenel Bridge

After all the photos I took, I've tried to arrange them in some order based on various topics I found interesting.

And a reminder from T.S. Eliot (East Coker from the Four Quartets)

Old men ought to be explorers
Here and there does not matter
We must be still and still moving
Into another intensity
For a further union, a deeper communion

April 2, 2005:Joining the East Bay ramp with the Meeting Street Ramp.
Paving almost complete (look for the Bidwell paving machine).

And from the Meeting Street On Ramp - looks like the paving is mostly complete

A tired but resting Bidwell machine after a job well done

From the Pearman Bridge - the Bidwell paving machine is near the intersection with the Meeting Street on ramp
