Old men ought to be explorers
Here and there does not matter

January 20, 2005:Getting there: the East Bay Ramp and Approach

West Ramp Gap: Bridging the next gap, erecting the 3rd girder and the 4th is waiting

Look what happened between 1pm (above) and 5pm (below) - girders off-loaded from the trucks and moved between the two cranes - nice example of just-in-time delivery

Moving the 3rd girder from the left to the right side of the red crane while the 4th girder is patiently waiting

The East Bay Ramp
